bTrace Tomorrow is a newly founded company within BAADER. The focus is on an interdisciplinary team of digitization experts who are committed to using digital possibilities and a global network of partners to improve the entire food value chain for all stakeholders involved – for an innovative, transparent and safe food supply.

Your role:

• You will develop IoT, cloud and Industry 4.0 software projects, which includes the integration of various data sources.
• In this role, you will work in an agile software development team and will participate in the sub-project management of big data and advanced analytics projects.
• Analysing problems and creating corresponding technical specifications will also be part of your responsibilities.
• You will manage microservices and event sourcing and will use various technologies such as Apache Kafka, Angular, MongoDB, AWS, Siemens MindSphere.

Your profile:

• You have successfully completed studies in computer science or have a comparable qualification.
• You gained several years of relevant work experience in software development or with Life Platform handling.
• This position requires relevant work experience in software development alongside knowledge of programming languages such as Node.js, Java, Go or R as well as very good knowledge of current frameworks and software development techniques.
• Experience in developing software for Windows and Linux and knowledge of Git and TDD are desirable.
• You have experience in the application of software development process models, preferably in agile development (Scrum).
• Good communication skills in English – and ideally also in German –, a solution-oriented working style as well as persuasiveness and the willingness to travel are also necessary.
